CHEL Week 2 is live, and a HUT patch hits today

CHEL Week 2 is rolling, and Update 2 lands today at 1 PM ET. New cards to chase, plus stability and Auction House fixes so you can actually list and swap without sweating disconnects.

CHEL Week 2, Opening Night

Daily drops hit Monday through Friday at 2 PM PT, with a Starter Pack for players who kick off the week, new Objectives and Moments, a Thursday Spotlight Player, and a community vote that gives one item a +1 OVR on Friday.

Monday’s headliners are live:

  • Jordan Kyrou is the pick, Wheels and real burst, with 89 wrist shot power and 89 puck control. Great on a rush-heavy RW.
  • Darnell Nurse brings Truculence and strong defensive reads. If you need a shutdown LD who can staple guys, this fits.
  • Pavel Dorofeyev is a pure shooter, 94 slap accuracy and 93 power plus Quick Release. Park him on your one-timer flank.
  • Darren Raddysh can bomb from the point, 90/90 slapper and Elite Edges to walk the blue line.

Tips for the week:

  • Do the vote early, then finish the Moments chain on Thursday to claim or build the Spotlight Player from Sets.
  • Track new adds and their chemistry in the HUTDB Player Database and Meta Combos, then slot them fast in the Squad Builder. Use the Player DB and Meta Combos to see who actually moves your lines.

Update 2 hits today

EA says Update 2 goes live today, Tuesday, September 29 at 1 PM ET, and it specifically calls out HUT fixes: fewer crashes entering HUT or editing lines, Sets and Store stability, an Icons filter added to My Collection and the Auction House, better handling of items in active lineups when trading, and clearer Store notifications. That should make listing, exchanging and reorganizing less painful.

What we’re watching after the patch:

  • Auction House reliability, especially after completing Sets and when swapping active-lineup items.
  • Quick lineup work, since several Edit Lines and strategy UI issues were fixed.

Quick market watch

Launch Point items are on the AH and getting action:

  • Charlie McAvoy sat around 145k coins as of September 26, and Jake Oettinger around 85k as of early September 28. Prices move fast, treat these as ballpark.
  • Kyle Connor has Wheels and finishing. If you like playing speed into CHEL Week Objectives, he’s a safe hold.

To move smart this week:

  • Grab Kyrou if you need pace on wing before more voters push him up.
  • Finish the CHEL Week Objectives and Thursday Spotlight chain, then check our Market to list dupes while the post-patch AH is busiest.
  • Keep an eye on Friday’s +1 winner and adjust lines in the Squad Builder once the upgrade hits at 2 PM PT.
